Indigenous & Curanderismo Inspired: Harmony, Healing, & Magical Awareness with the Elements, Fire & Air

Our ancient Indigenous codices tell of the creative, destructive, regenerative aspects, as well as our relations and work with the sacred elements: water, earth, fire, and air. In this two-part series, we explore these ancient Indigenous understandings of working with the elements, and weave this wisdom to our modern lives to gain harmony, mutual healing, awareness of our relations, and integrate this awareness in our Rites to make our lives more magical.

For this Class we focus on:

• Ancient Indigenous understandings & mythologies around the sacred elements, Fire & Air
• Drawing from this sacred Indigenous wisdom to develop a sacred connection with Fire & Air for mutual healing & spiritual growth
• Consciously weaving Fire & Air in our Rites & their specific purposes to make our lives more magical
• Exploring the sacrality of & connections with Fire & Air with restorative breathwork & integrative sound journeys

Erika blends her 25+ years of practicing as a curandera, mentoring, and studying Mesoamerican Curanderismo. She has a master’s degree in religious studies with a focus on Mesoamerican shamanism and curanderismo. She has written Cleansing Rites of Curanderismo, Curanderismo Soul Retrieval, Sacred Energies of the Sun and Moon, Animal Medicine, Veneration Rites of Curanderismo, and created the Mesoamerican Oracle Cards. As a modern-day curandera, she excels at translating and applying this sacred knowledge to help her clients realize and live their BLISS.
