    For this Full Moon Rite, we celebrate the energies for the month of Toxcatl, 4/23-5/12. During this month, the ancient Central Mexicans engaged in community supported platicas (heart-straightening talks) and also offered space limpias for homes within the Aztec empire. In Mesoamerican curanderismo traditions, it is believed that the energies of the full moon can be accessed the day before and after the peak of the full moon. January's full moon will peak at 10:36am PST on the 5th. Our Full Moon Ceremony will integrate these traditions.
